1) Aloe Vera Hydrating Gel
Ingredients:
4 tbsp aloe vera gel
1 tbsp cooled brewed green tea
1 tbsp of avocado oil
1 tbsp of hazelnut oil*
2 x vitamin E capsules
*macadamia, pumpkin seed or coconut oil can replace hazelnut oil
Preparation Method:
Combine aloe vera, avocado oil and hazelnut oil. Mix well
Add green tea and mix it through.
Add vitamin E capsules and mix it until dissolved.
This multi purpose gel can be used as:
• A light moisturising gel
• Face mask for all skin types
• Hydrating eye gel
2) Coconut, Coffee and Vanilla Body Polish
Ingredients:
1½ cup shredded coconut
3 tbsp coffee grounds
1 tsp of vanilla extract / essence
½ cup ground rice
Preparation Method:
Combine all ingredients. Mix well with a spatula
Rub over entire body in circular motions. Rinse well.
3) Coconut Ice Body Buffer
Ingredients:
1 cup shredded coconut
½ cup ground rice
4 tbsp organic coconut oil
1 hibiscus tea bag
½ tsp vanilla extract
Preparation Method
Pour hot water over tea bag. Set aside to cool.
Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
Add 2 tablespoons of brewed tea and mix thoroughly
Apply onto skin after bath or shower
4) Soothing Turmeric Face Mask
Ingredients:
1 tbsp turmeric
½ cup of soy flour
½ cup rice flour
½ cup brewed green tea (cooled)
2 tbsp of natural yoghurt
1 tbsp of macadamia nut oil
Preparation Method:
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Apply evenly over face avoiding eye area. Leave it on for 15-30mins. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
5) Face Mist
Ingredients:
3 tbsp pomegranate juice
4 tbsp green tea
2 tbsp hibiscus tea (cooled)
2 tbsp aloe vera juice
Top up with pure water to make up 100mls
Spray mist is full of anti-oxidants; great to take on plane as an in-flight toner
